Founder

AMORALLE was created in 2008 as a small shop selling Italian socks, stockings and garter belts, with our Founder Inese Vakse at the time being the CEO and only employee of the company. Not soon after Inese started experimenting with her own designs of socks and accessories with the help of her mother Ņina Vakse - an experienced seamstress.

Inspired by the requests of customers who fell in love with Inese’s one-of-a-kind garments and accessories, Inese and Ņina brought in their first seamstress, never knowing that this decision would become something much bigger than they imagined.

“You do not need the acceptance of others. You need to feel accepted by yourself. To be your own kind of beautiful. Just be yourself, let people see the real, imperfect, flawed, quirky, weird, beautiful and magic person that you are.” Inese Vakse, founder of AMORALLE

Atelier

At AMORALLE ATELIER our team works with the uttermost discipline and devotion. We recognize and honour that each pair of hands has a unique gift - one for pattern making, another for sewing, and some for the smallest, most invisible detail. By working together as a one big family, the beauty of AMORALLE is made. Most importantly, every garment is made with love, always putting the quality of garment and needs of our customers first.

Throughout the years at AMORALLE ATELIER we have worked with various fabrics and patterns, yet the speciality of AMORALLE is clear – the stretch-jersey bodysuits with tulle and lace details, and gowns that go from minimalistic silk silhouettes to lush tulle and lace combinations.

Amoralle Level Up is located in a building designed by renowned architect Eižens Laube in 1912. Originally created as the Mutual Credit Bank for Merchants and Industrialists, the building has preserved its historical charm to this day — including oak staircases with hand-forged decorative railings and stained glass windows dedicated to composer Richard Wagner.

Today, the AMORALLE boutique is located on the ground floor, while since 2021, the spacious second floor has been home to the Amoralle Level Up event space.
